Biography

Born and raised in Hawaii. I have learned the Japanese culture and language while listening to the language of the ocean waves and the spirit of Aloha. Graduating from the University of Hawaii, experiences involved endeavors as a newspaper comics artist, film production assistant, professional photo-editor, and bartender. My interests and flexibility in working in various industries have led me to continue my growth through the connections I make.

I moved to San Diego in 2006 to study motivation and persuasion in group settings (download paper here). After completing my thesis, I set out to explore the States and connect with others through Couchsurfing.org. I exposed myself to myriad lifestyles, perspectives, and geography - mainly in an attempt to understand the general truths that motivate individuals to pursue their dreams.

My travels have taken me to Ann Arbor, MI. I am currently the Data Manager and academic correspondent for Denison Consulting. I work with Research and Development to collect and analyze data, and then to produce findings and trends that are easily understood by the general population. Similarly, I am in constant search of better organizational methods to become more effective in the company, as well as in my own life.

Current projects involve community involvement and social media.
